ECM Engineer Sr

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior ECM (Enterprise Content Management) Engineer to manage and support their ECM systems. The role involves overseeing daily operational activities, image queue management, scanning workflows, and indexing for both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ECM systems, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to implement new processes and maintain existing ones.

Challenges you would face

• Manage and support FileNet P8 Content Manager, BPM, and Image Manager platforms
• Administer and troubleshoot IBM DataCap and related ECM technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to coordinate ECM updates and improvements
• Identify best practices for imaging processes, support management, and system maintenance
• Implement automated processes to enhance ECM support within the organization

The ideal candidate

• 8+ years of experience in ECM system administration and support
• Proficiency with FileNet P8 platforms, IBM DataCap, and related ECM tools
• Knowledge of Active Directory, ADLDS, and other directory services
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server), including stored procedures and triggers
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Plus

• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or SolarWinds
• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, AIX, Windows, IBM WebSphere, and Apache Tomcat
• Programming experience in Java, C#, Perl, PowerShell, and Unix Shell scripting
