Overview
Our client, a growing fintech company, is seeking a IT Project Manager to support the delivery of API-based solutions and drive operational success in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical project delivery, operations, and customer support, with strong problem-solving abilities and client-facing experience.
Challenges you would face
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, technical implementation, and risk management
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless project delivery and issue resolution
- Set up and configure system features such as payment aggregation and fare capping
- Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues and managing configurations
- Ensure clear communication with stakeholders, tracking project progress and maintaining alignment on timelines
- Conduct project closure reviews and implement continuous improvements from customer feedback
The ideal candidate
- 3+ years of experience in payments or a similar industry with knowledge of payment processing systems
- Experience managing complex system integration projects, particularly in the card payments sector
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in English
- Understanding of API-based integrations and ability to troubleshoot using log files
Plus
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and SaaS solutions
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience in the mobility-as-a-service or automated fare collection sectors
- Project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2
