Senior Data and AI Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Data and AI Engineer to lead the development and implementation of AI-powered features in their low-code financial services platform. This role involves designing and optimizing machine learning models and data processing workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to revolutionize the way financial services workflows and integrations are built. The ideal candidate is innovative, technically skilled, and passionate about leveraging AI to create impactful solutions.

Challenges you would face

• Build and optimize AI integration pipelines using leading language models and AI services
• Develop sophisticated data processing workflows to ensure high-quality training data for AI systems
• Design and implement machine learning models to generate and validate low-code workflows, user interfaces, and data schemas
• Create robust evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI-generated outputs
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into the platform architecture
• Establish best practices for AI implementation, including monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement

The ideal candidate

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning and AI implementation
• Expertise in large language model integration, prompt engineering, and ML model optimization
• Proficiency in Python and its ML/AI ecosystem (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based AI services (preferably AWS)
• Track record of implementing production-grade AI systems that deliver measurable business value
