They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Web Developer to design and develop websites using WordPress, creating responsive and visually appealing designs. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality user experiences and seamless integration with backend systems.

Challenges you would face

Design and develop visually appealing, easy-to-use, and responsive websites and web applications, focusing on WordPress
Design and code responsive email templates for various marketing campaigns
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand requirements, goals, and target audience to create effective designs
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts and gather feedback
Stay up-to-date with the latest coding techniques and technologies to ensure websites meet current standards
Test and debug websites to ensure they are error-free and perform optimally
Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring consistency with branding guidelines
Ensure seamless integration of front-end with backend logic and databases
Accurately integrate and manage various tracking tags to capture and report data correctly

The ideal candidate

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in front-end web design
Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript
Proficient understanding of server management and configuration
In-depth knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin for WordPress, including custom field integration and dynamic content features
Knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Plus

Familiarity with additional WordPress plugins and themes
Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices
