General Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a visionary General Manager to lead a well-established financial institution in its transformation into a fully digital neobank. With a focus on integrating advanced technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence, this role will drive innovation, operational excellence, and growth in both local and new markets. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in aligning strategic initiatives with the company's long-term vision.

Challenges you would face

• Coordinate and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring timely completion of key projects
• Drive the digital transformation of the organization by adopting advanced technologies
• Collaborate with the executive team to design growth strategies for national and international markets
• Monitor and consolidate performance metrics (KPIs and OKRs) to ensure alignment with company goals
• Promote a culture of innovation and technological adoption across the organization
• Analyze and manage strategic contracts, negotiating favorable terms with key partners
• Lead modernization efforts to streamline operations, digitize processes, and enhance customer focus
• Provide direct support to senior management in decision-making and team management

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of leadership experience in the financial sector or tech companies with a focus on digital transformation
• Deep understanding of emerging banking technologies, including AI, machine learning, and process automation
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams, both local and remote, in a fast-paced environment
• Strong skills in strategic analysis, negotiation, data-driven decision-making, and results orientation
• Familiarity with Venezuelan banking regulations
