Mid Backend Developer

Overview

Our client is looking for a Mid Backend Developer to play a key role in developing and implementing scalable, data-driven features in their applications. The successful candidate will work with a collaborative team to optimize database performance, contribute to API development, and improve deployment pipelines, leveraging their experience with Node.js, SQL, and AWS technologies.

Challenges you would face

• Contribute to designing and building REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Express
• Support in database and schema design for data-heavy applications
• Optimize relational and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability
• Implement new features while handling large datasets and complex applications
• Assist in maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for deployment in AWS environments

The ideal candidate

• 3-5 years of experience as a backend developer working with production software
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs
• Good understanding of SQL and database management, including Postgres and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with AWS services, including RDS and serverless architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization
