Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to manage and support the financial operations of a portfolio of senior living properties. This critical role involves advanced financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to enhance the performance and profitability of senior housing facilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership, operations teams, and external stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and long-term growth.

Challenges you would face

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for senior housing properties
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare budget vs. actual performance and provide actionable recommendations
  • Lead the budgeting process and ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational plans
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance, including scenario analysis
  • Perform due diligence and ROI analysis for potential acquisitions and capital expenditures
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity, ensuring financial resources meet operational and strategic needs
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies across the portfolio
  • Communicate financial insights and reports to senior leadership, investors, and stakeholders

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in real estate, senior housing, or related industries
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex financial information
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance
