Senior UI Designer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior UI Designer to lead the architecture and scaling of a comprehensive design system for their next-generation low-code financial services platform. This role demands exceptional systems thinking, UI/UX expertise, and the ability to craft intuitive interfaces for complex technical workflows. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver a seamless design-to-development process and drive the evolution of user-centric designs for enterprise applications.

Challenges you would face

• Architect and maintain a robust design system, including reusable component libraries and design tokens
• Create scalable design patterns for intricate technical workflows
• Design intuitive interfaces and user flows optimized for enterprise use cases
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes for complex features and ensure usability and efficiency
• Bridge the gap between design and engineering by enabling smooth design-to-development handoffs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, to align on feature specifications and implementation
• Mentor junior designers, promoting best practices in design system usage

The ideal candidate

• 7+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record in building and scaling design systems
• Extensive experience designing technical products and enterprise applications
• Strong portfolio showcasing design system architecture, component libraries, and technical interfaces
• Proficiency in modern design tools, particularly Figma
• In-depth understanding of frontend development principles, responsive design, and design-to-code workflows
• Expert knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles

• Experience in financial services or low-code platform design
• Strong grasp of typography, color theory, and layout principles
