Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide high-quality support for their open-source, low-code platform. The role involves troubleshooting database connections, writing example JavaScript code for customer use cases, and collaborating with engineers to resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with technical support, JavaScript, and SQL or NoSQL databases, and a passion for helping users solve complex problems.

Challenges you would face

• Troubleshoot and debug database connections for customers
• Write example JavaScript code to solve specific customer issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve technical problems
• Provide product support through multiple channels, including chat, email, and social media
• Create and improve technical documentation to empower users

The ideal candidate

• 5+ years of experience in technical support for a software product
• Proficiency in JavaScript (JS)
• Experience supporting SQL or NoSQL databases
• Ability to fix bugs in codebases and provide solutions to complex issues
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies

Plus

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with low-code platforms
• Contributions to open-source projects
